Ghost Boy character model sheet: a light-blue dripping ghost with a square skull face, shown in turnaround, eight expressions, poses, and a colour palette.
Character model sheet, v1.0.

In short

Ghost Boy started as a personal reminder that nothing lasts — but what you make can outlive you. To create is to leave a signal. To not create is to become a ghost.

Origin

Create or die is the way of Ghost Boy.

Ghost Boy is a symbolic character born from the tension between presence and disappearance. He began as a personal reminder that nothing lasts — but what you make can outlive you.

The model sheet is the foundation: proportions, palette, and range, fixed before the stories get told.

The original mark.

Building a character

  1. 01

A silhouette you can draw from memory.

A square skull face, two tall eyes, and a body that drips. Recognizable at any size, in a single colour.

  2. 02

    Range before story.

The model sheet fixes proportions, line weight, and a four-colour palette, then stress-tests the character across eight expressions and a set of poses — from floating idle to lying down.

  3. 03

    A world, not a mascot.

Ghost Boy lives in places — a night street, a bedroom, the sky — so he can carry stories rather than just appear on things.

NoteMore of the world — story, environments, objects — is in progress.
